使い方は、長くなりますが様々。
薄く吸水性・通気性にすぐれているので、食材を拭いたり、台ふきんや、食器拭き、包丁の拭き取り用として重宝します。熱にも強く、出汁を濾したり、蒸し料理や、濡らして熱々のご飯を塩で握ると衛生的で美味しいおにぎりが作れます。果汁をしぼったり、ヨーグルトや豆腐の水切りなどにも最適で、ゆでた野菜や塩もみしたきゅうりなど、キッチンペーパーでは破れてしまって上手くしぼれない時にも、薄く丈夫なのでしっかりしぼれ、おひたしや和え物が水っぽくなりません。また、コーヒーのフィルターやラップのかわりにも手軽に使えます。ハサミや包丁で切れ目を入れると、簡単に手で裂けるので好きな大きさにカットしてご使用ください。裂くと糸が出ますが、使っていくうちに落ち着いてくるので、基本はそのままで大丈夫です。気になる場合、ほつれた部分をハサミで整えてください。濡れてもすぐに乾き、洗うほどにくったりと馴染んで、どんどん使い勝手がよくなります。台所で重宝するほか、使うほどに柔らかく肌触りも良くなるのでハンカチに、また漆器など大切なものの包み布にも。赤ちゃんのお口拭き、沐浴やおむつ、マスクの内側のあて布や、傷の手当てなど「衛生用品」としても。食品を包んだまま冷凍、解凍もできます。さまざまな用途で洗って繰り返し使用することで、使い捨てのキッチンペーパーやラップの使用量が減り、最後には掃除にも使えます。

It is thin highly absorbent and breathable making it useful for wiping vegetables and meats as a dishcloth wiping dishes and wiping knives. It is also heat-resistant making it ideal for straining broth steaming food or wrapping hot rice balls. Despite being a thin cloth it is more durable than paper towels and will not tear making it perfect for squeezing fruit juice draining yogurt or tofu and thoroughly squeezing boiled vegetables or salted cucumbers preventing side dishes or salads from becoming watery. It can also be easily used as a coffee filter or to replace plastic wrap. You can freeze and thaw food when using it as a wrap. By washing and reusing it for various purposes you can reduce the use of kitchen paper and plastic wrap and even use it for cleaning.It is soft to the touch making it suitable as a wrapping cloth for important items like handkerchiefs or lacquerware. It can be used as a baby wipe a bath towel cloth diapers or a sanitary item such as an inner cloth for masks or for treating wounds.It can be easily torn by hand to your desired size or cut with scissors or a knife. If the edges fray they can be trimmed though this may not be necessary. It dries quickly when wet and the fabric gets softer and easier to use with each wash.
